Poplar Creek Public Library

Poplar Creek Public Library District is a public library in Illinois, United States which serves residents of Streamwood, Hanover Park, Elgin, Schaumburg, and Bartlett. Created by a 1966 referendum in Streamwood, it currently has one main Streamwood facility and one Hanover Park branch.

Poplar Creek Library – Sonya Crawshaw Branch

In 1991, it was determined that a branch of Poplar Creek Library was needed to better meet the needs of Hanover Park residents. A modular unit was created and became the Hanover Park Branch. In 2015, it was renovated to provide for a larger collection and computer usage, and was renamed the Sonya Crawshaw Branch in honor of the late Village President of Hanover Park.

The Schaumburg Township District Library, located in Schaumburg, Illinois, is the second largest public library in Illinois. It serves the Schaumburg Township area, covering sections of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Hanover Park, Roselle, and Elk Grove Village.
